Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and altitude variation. The elevation of the country ranges from 60 meters above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters, all within a distance of 150 kilometers resulting in climatic conditions from sub-tropical to arctic. You will be passing through picturesque villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups, the farmers working in their field and the herders grazing their animals on the steep slopes. PEAK CLIMBING : The uncountable number of Himalayan peaks on the vicinity of Mount Everest will always be a great attraction for mountain climbers. Expeditions to the Nepalese Himalayas require careful pre-planning, many governmental formalities and considerable expenses. But for those seeking equal challenges, Peak climbing can be a good alternative. JUNGLE SAFARI : Nepal provides shelter to over 30 species of large wild animals and approximately 180 species of mammals. The rhinoceros, tiger, crocodile, snow leopard, red panda, Himalayan lack bear and many other beasts are found in Nepal's jungles.
